Peculiar survival strategies to get ahead in this tough but fertile territory.
We will traverse the crown jewel of the Natural Park Los Calares del Mundo y de la Sima. As we go up, we will observe changes in the vegetation, from the vast and old pine forests in the hillsides and slopes of this massif to other plants that fight to survive in its inhospitable tops. On our way, we will admire the magnificent Los Chorros cirque from its highest point as well as the second most dense field of sinkholes in the Iberian Peninsula.

Álvaro García Valero
Biologist and naturalist, but above all a lover of life, I consider the Segura and Alcaraz mountain ranges as my second home, as well as the great steppes of the southeast of Albacete. I dedicate all my efforts to the study, understanding and dissemination of the natural and cultural values of this fantastic region of the Iberian Peninsula.
